C215 - Marriage and Family (3)

This course is a study of the Biblical principles of family life with the emphasis on what makes a good partner, the roles of husband-wife, and parent child relationships within the home. Studies will include skills about dealing with divorce, finances, communication, wounds and forgiveness among other topics. This class is useful for singles or married people.
E205 - Effective Teaching in Christian Education (3)

This course is a study of the principles underlying the teaching / learning process presented in light of the current research in cognitive learning theory and student motivation. A variety of teaching techniques and problem solving strategies appropriate to each stage of child development will be examined. Effective models in the development of lesson plans for children’s curricula will be used.

P08 - Systematic Theology IV (3)

This course explores understanding of healing and eschatology (what happens during the last days). Systematic Theology IV will study divine healing, God’s provision and promises concerning physical healing. Throughout the course you will also learn about the Biblical teaching regarding the end times: second coming of Christ, the resurrections and judgments, the millennial reign of Christ, and the final state of both the saved and unsaved. The content includes Divine Healing and Eschatology.
B205 - The Gospels (3)
Thursday, 6-8pm, Warren Allfrey, DVM
This course gives an expository and historical study of the life of Christ as revealed in the Gospels. Jesus life and teaching are analyzed and studied against the backdrop of the contemporary human situation in which He lived. All the gospels will be explored with emphasis in the harmonization of the three, Matthew, Mark and Luke, with events of John and its theological value.
